Every winter, the city of Lake Geneva hosts Winterfest, a nine day celebration that consumes the city and the shoreline of Geneva Lake. This festival celebrates winter, family, art, and fun with dozens of events.
One of the most well-known events during Winterfest is the National Snow Sculpting Competition, where fifteen teams of the most talented artists and snow sculptors travel from around the country to compete for national titles.

The intricate sculptures filled the grounds surrounding the Riviera, waiting to be awarded.

Winterfest is made up of dozens of other events as well, including the Cocoa Crawl; where local businesses serve hot cocoa inspired food items, Human Dog Sled Races, Magic Shows, Helicopter Rides, a Chili Cook-Off, Ice Bars, and much more!
